On October 20, 2023, at the 2023 World VR Industry Conference – Metaverse Theme Forum, the National Virtual Reality Innovation Center and S-Dream Lab officially signed a contract to jointly build an XR evaluation laboratory.
Both parties will cooperate based on their respective capabilities and advantages in the XR field, continuously promoting high-quality evaluation work for XR terminal products, and safeguarding the healthy and sustainable development of the XR industry.
National Virtual Reality Innovation Center
The National Virtual Reality Innovation Center was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on October 26, 2022, and was established based on Nanchang Virtual Reality Research Institute Co., LTD. The National Virtual Reality Innovation Center, guided by the principle of “research and development of key common technologies that can be industrialized”, focuses on the key common technology problems that restrict the development of China’s virtual reality industry. It builds platforms for key common technology research and development, pilot-scale verification, testing, technical services, talent cultivation and international cooperation, and gradually constructs an industrial innovation ecosystem covering the entire virtual reality industry chain. Promote the high-quality development of China’s virtual reality industry.
